Karen J. Greenberg, director of the Center on National Security at Fordham Law School, appeared on WNYC’s The Brian Lehrer Show to discuss the new book she co-edited, Our Nation at Risk: Election Integrity as a National Security Issue (NYU Press, 2024), in which experts weigh in on the risks to national security posed by election insecurity. She and co-author Julian Zelizer, professor of history and public affairs at Princeton University, CNN political analyst, and NPR contributor, argue that when the integrity of elections is threatened, so too is national security.
