    Hon. Denny Chin LAW ’78 celebrated 30 years on the bench this September. Judge Chin currently serves as a Senior United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

    Robert Tembeckjian LAW ’80 was appointed as the inaugural member of the new Global Advisory Board at Balchug Capital.

    Jason Halper LAW ’91 joined the partnership at Vinson & Elkins LLP.

    Palmina Fava LAW ’97 was named to the 2025 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America guide.

    John J. Hanley LAW ’00 joined McDonald Hopkins LLC as a member.

    Susan Chung LAW ’01 was appointed as the director of the Graduate Lawyering Program at New York University School of Law.

    Christine Schessler Poscablo LAW ’01 was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief, Civil Division, at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Christine was also recently awarded the Henry L. Stimson Medal, presented annually by the New York City Bar Association to outstanding Assistant U.S. Attorneys in the Southern District and in the Eastern District of New York.

    Ralph L. Wolf LAW ’06 is running in an election for the Manhattan 5th Municipal Court District judge of the New York City Civil Court, New York County.

    Eve-Christie M. Vermynck LAW ’07 joined the partnership at King & Spalding LLP.

    Christina C. Okereke LAW ’08 was appointed as special counsel for opioid abatement at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia.

    Richard Saenz LAW ’10 was selected as a 2024-2025 Wasserstein Public Interest Program Fellow at Harvard Law School. The program recognizes exemplary lawyers who have distinguished themselves in public interest work and who can advise students who are considering similar career paths.

    Michal Shinnar LAW ’11 was named to the 2025 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America list for the practice area of Labor & Employment Law – Employee.

    Osmel Cuan LAW ’13 was appointed as managing principal and tax liability practice leader of Vanbridge, an EPIC company.

    Derick Dailey LAW ’17 was accepted into the Obama Foundation Leaders USA 2024-2025 cohort.

    Louis Cholden-Brown LAW ’20 was appointed to senior vice president, government relations at Moonshot Strategies.

    Daniel Abowd LAW ’21 was appointed as president and general counsel of The Royalty Network Inc.

    Michael Mehary LAW ’23 was appointed as an assistant district attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

    Carl Capasso LAW ’24 was appointed as an assistant district attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
