    Paul A. Soden LAW ’68 is being honored with the William Grant Award for exceptionally generous leadership by the Gregorian University Foundation. Paul continues as Senior Counsel at Thompson Hine LLP, as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School, Chief of the Westchester County Sheriff’s Department, Commodore of the Marco Island Yacht Club and a Captain in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

    Roy Scaffidi LAW ’78 was named to the Forbes Advisor’s 2024 “Best Personal Injury Lawyers of Staten Island, NY” list.

    Devon Reiff LAW ’79 was named to the Forbes Advisor’s 2024 “Best Personal Injury Lawyers of Staten Island, NY” list.

    Daniel Patrick O’Toole LAW ’92 was named to the Forbes Advisor’s 2024 “Best Personal Injury Lawyers of Staten Island, NY” list.

    Steven Schiesel LAW ’92 was named to the Forbes Advisor’s 2024 “Best Personal Injury Lawyers of Staten Island, NY” list.

    Palmina Fava LAW ’97 was individually recognized in the Global Investigations Review 2024 “GIR 30″ list.

    Samrat “Sam” Khichi LAW ’98 was named Best General Counsel of 2024 by Corporate Counsel. He was recognized for his achievement at the American Lawyer Industry Awards in New York City on November 13. Read more here.

    Jacob Zelmanovitz LAW ’01 was elected judge for the Brooklyn 5th Municipal Court District of the New York City Civil Court Kings County. He will assume office on January 1, 2025.

    Jake Preiserowicz LAW ’06 joined Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP as a partner. He previously worked as special counsel with the firm from 2012 to 2018, and served as vice president and managing legal counsel with T. Rowe Price from 2018 to 2024.

    Matthew C. Decker LAW ’09 joined the partnership at Drummond Woodsum.

    Ori Assa LAW ’12 was promoted to counsel at Latham & Watkins LLP in Madrid.

    Matthew Marcucci LAW ’14 joined the partnership at Warshaw Burstein LLP.

    Andrew Todres LAW ’14 joined the partnership at Ropes & Gray, LLP.

    James Burbage LAW ’15 joined the partnership at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, LLP.

    Patrick Prin LAW ’15 joined Ropes & Gray, LLP as counsel.

    Corey Dietrich LAW ’16 joined the partnership at Proskauer Rose, LLP.

    Christina Kim LAW ’16 joined the partnership at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, LLP.

    Diana Imbert LAW ’19 gave birth to her baby boy Lenox on July 4, 2024.

    Alexander Blisko LAW ’21 joined Rivkin Radler LLP as an associate at the firm’s Uniondale office.
