    Fordham Law Professor Cheryl Bader spoke to The New York Times about the jurors’ decision not to convict Daniel Penny of manslaughter, noting the complexity of the case.

    Cheryl Bader, a professor at Fordham Law School, said that the jurors’ inability to come to a unanimous decision on the manslaughter charge indicated that perhaps they did not see the case as the same “binary choice” that the public might.
