Fordham Law visiting professor and researcher Levan Bodzashvili was appointed acting head of Georgia’s security council by the country’s president, Giorgi Margvelashvili, according to an article in Agenda.ge. Bodzashvili, 42, will temporarily fulfill the post until Margvelashvili names a new secretary of the State Security Council; the President’s advisory agency on national security issues. … It is not likely Bodzashvili will continue as a chairperson of the State Security Council, as he has already been named as the President’s candidate for the vacant position of judge in the Supreme Court of Georgia. Fordham Law alumnus Daniel Winterfeldt was quoted in Above the Law where he discusses how he founded the InterLaw Diversity Forum in order to address inclusion and diversity among legal professionals. Professor Sheila Foster’s law review article “The City as a Commons” (co-authored with Italian legal scholar Christian Iaione) was cited in a blog post of the P2P Foundation. David Vitter (R.-La.) referred to a case study  “ISIS Prosecutions in the United States”, prepared by Fordham University Law School’s Center on National Security , during questioning of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Leon Rodriguez , mentioned an article in CNS News. “They looked at all ISIS prosecutions in the United States and determined that of those involved in that, 18 percent were refugees or asylees.
