    Security Settings in Zoom

    The Security icon is located at the bottom left of the Zoom menu.

    1. Lock Meeting: Prevents participants from joining the meeting
    2. Enable Waiting Room: If enabled, participants cannot enter a meeting without the Host’s permission
    3. Share Screen: Enable and disable screen sharing access for participants as needed
    4. Chat: Enable chat for all participants
    5. Rename Themselves: Allow participants to rename themselves
    6. Remove Participant: Remove a person from the meeting
      Select Remove Participant and from the Participant window, click Remove next to the participant to be removed from the current Zoom meeting
    7. Report: Report a participant in the meeting if they are causing trouble (e.g., Zoom bomber)


    Important Reminder: Do not post links and passwords on any public forums where people from outside a session or meeting will have access to the information.
