Echo360 automatically creates a machine generated transcript (aka an audio transcription) for every video created with Echo360’s Universal Capture or uploaded to the system. However, such transcripts are never 100% accurate and so instructors are encouraged to review and edit transcripts where necessary.
With Echo360’s in line Transcription Editor, professors can modify the machine generated transcript and even choose to set the corrected transcript as the closed caption (CC) option for the video.
