Fordham Law School is one of the top schools that sent the highest percentage of 2016 J.D. graduates to the largest 100 law firms, according to data presented by the National Law Journal.

In the report, Fordham ranks #20 for new associate hiring, with 23.44 percent of graduates going to the AmLaw100 firms. An earlier release of the report spotlighted the fact that 8 members of the Fordham Law class of 2016 started this past fall at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

“We have found that Fordham Law graduates have performed at the highest level, in terms of their talent, their commitment, and their client service ethic, and we look forward to continuing to attract the best and brightest from Fordham in the coming years,” said Brad Karp, chairman of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

The Law School also ranked favorably among schools that saw the most alumni promoted to partner. Fordham Law stands at #13, tied with Boston College.

Last month, Fordham Law was ranked one of the best law schools for BigLaw Jobs by Vault and, in January, was ranked a top 20 school for highest average salary, according to a report released by online personal finance company SoFi.
