Joel Reidenberg, founding academic director of the Fordham Center on Law and Information Policy (CLIP), appeared in an NBC News video where he talked about privacy concerns related to at-home DNA tests like Ancestry, 23andMe, and MyHeritage.

I have counseled many family members not to do them because we just don’t know where this data will wind up.
