    Professor Joel Reidenberg received the 2019 BCLT Privacy Award from the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology. The award recognizes Reidenberg’s seminal scholarship, innovative policy entrepreneurship, and tireless support of the privacy community.

    Hon. Janice McKenzie Cole ’79 was featured in The Perquimans Weekly for being honored by The Black Law Student Association at the 100 Years of Woman Ceremony at Fordham Law School.

    David H. Freeman ’82 has written two comprehensive guidebooks exploring cultural shifts and business development for lawyers.

    Willajeanne McLean ’86 has been awarded the 2019 Tapping Reeve Legal Educator Award from the Connecticut Bar Association, an award that honors a member of the Connecticut Bar “who has contributed greatly to the legal education”. Learn more.

    Christopher Mone ’88 has joined Wedbush Securities as Head of Wealth Management.

    Katheleen A. Walsh ’89 received the 2019 Betty Santangelo Award for helping to advance the careers of women in the legal industry and beyond.

    Barry Benjamin ’93 has been named managing partner of Kilpatrick Townsend’s New York Office. He chairs Kilpatrick Townsend’s Advertising and Marketing group which is a part of the internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department. His practice focuses on advertising, privacy, and technology transactions in areas where traditional and digital media converge, and where evolving distribution platforms and data gathering tools push the boundaries of intellectual property rights, privacy, technology, and content.

    Keith Markel ’98 has been elected to serve as co-chair of Morrison Cohen LLP’s labor and employment group.

    Christopher J. Robinson ’01 has joined Rottenberg Lipman Rich, P.C. as an attorney in their New York office.

    Tony Andriotis ’03 has joined Quinn Emannuel as partner in their Tokyo office. He has also been appointed to the panel of arbitrators and mediators of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).

    Mari-Claudia Jiménez ’04 joined Sotheby’s in 2016 as Senior Vice President, Managing Director of the Fiduciary Client Group and Valuations and became Chairman in 2018.

    Gregory Xethalis ’05 has been elevated to partner at Chapman and Cutler LLP.

    Noreen Phelan ’08 has joined Sidley Austin LLP as partner their Washington, D.C. office.

    Robert A. Rich ’08 has been elevated to partner at New York based firm, Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP.

    Patrick F.X. Fitzpatrick, Jr. ’09 has been featured on the Indiana Rising Stars 2019 list.

    Zaid Hydari ’09 co-founded Refugee Solidarity Network (RSN), a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that offers legal assistance programs to support and expand refugee rights. Learn more.

    Christina Conroy ’09 has been elected partner at King & Spalding, an international law firm that represents a broad array of clients, including half of the Fortune Global 100, with 1,000 lawyers in 20 offices in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Learn more.

    Stephanie K. Benecchi ’10 has been elected to partner at Montgomery McCracken.

    Patrick Krenicky ’10 has joined Weir & Partners LLP as partner.

    Mark Goldstein ’10, counsel at Reed Smith LLP, wrote an op-ed in The American Lawyer about how to address and overcome mental health issues and the stigma surrounding them. Learn more.

    Katerina Housos ’14 has joined Phillips & Associates, Attorneys at Law, PLLC as an associate.

    Gene Kang ’11 has been named a 2019 New Jersey Super Lawyer Rising Star.

    Akilah Browne ’19, evening student of the Community Economic Develop Clinic, was chosen as runner-up for the National Jurist Law Student of the Year Award.
