Times Union: Prof. Martha Rayner Says “Parole Board should not be able to outsource parole decisions to a widely criticized algorithm.”


In a Times Union op-ed, clinical associate professor of law, Martha Rayner, criticizes the lack of transparency around an evaluation tool called COMPAS Re-entry used by the New York Parole Board to determine whether a person is eligible for parole.
