Fordham Law’s Professor Bennett Capers and Brooklyn Law School‘s Professor Cynthia Godsoe co-wrote an opinion piece about the missing issue of race in deciding “reasonable” fear and society’s struggle to choose empathy over fear when navigating interactions with mentally disabled individuals.
