Public event on November 1 takes a multidisciplinary look into the current nationwide crisis, the law, ethics, and psychology of mass shootings, the challenges faced by law enforcement and government, and strategies to prevent these tragedies. On April 6, students and members of the Fordham Law community gathered together to discuss progressive prosecution and criminal justice reform for the Spring 2022 Dialogue Day. The event was the fifth in an ongoing series, which began in 2020 to provide a forum for Fordham Law students and faculty to exchange information about issues of concern. This spring, the Office of International and Non-J.D. Programs hosted 54 lawyers and graduate students from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Spain for a program in U.S. Business Law and Practice. This marked the seventh year of the program, which brings students from Garriuges’ master’s degree in International Business Law program to study the practice of law in the U.S. This year’s program, running from March 28 to April 8, combined classroom training with institutional visits.
