Deborah Denno comments in the Oakland Tribune about California’s effort to revive its dormant death penalty system in an appeals court considering the latest legal tangle over San Quentin’s lethal injection procedures.
“With California, even if they have a (method in place), that’s not the last issue,” said Deborah Denno, a Fordham University law professor. “Any state like California moving so glacially is going to be really behind.”
